Coming Soon: New Portal Software |
|
We are getting close to the release of Virtual Payment Systems new portal software. The new system makes it easier for our merchants to manage their accounts and makes it easier for payers to take care of business:
- We've replaced the old report system with a new, streamlined payment history screen that allows you to quickly drill down to the information you are looking for.
- A new, ajax powered pament screen that takes two less page loads to complete a payment.
- We've also improved our integration with our upstream payment processor to cut down on payment timeouts.
- When payments don't go though, messages are much more clear. Instead of getting a page of detail, we'll simply tell you exactly what the problem is, for example, "the transaction failed because the payer's credit card is over limit."
Over the next few weeks, we'll be releasing screenshots as well as letting our existing customers sign up to transition to the new and improved portal. We anticipate the new Virtual Payment Systems portal being online by April 1st, and plan or transitioning all existing customers to the new system by June 1, 2010.
