Virtual Payment Systems, Inc. has purchased the ePayops online bill pay portal. ePayOps customers will be able to begin processing payments through the ePayOps portal after completing the Visa and MasterCard mandated application process.

Virtual Payment Systems, Inc. Asset Purchase FAQ

On September 6th, Virtual Payment Systems, Inc entered in an agreement to purchase the online payment portal  operated by Benton Allen,LLC dba ePayOps.  Virtual Payment Systems purchased the software, servers and customer base from ePayOps.  Virtual Payment Systems reactivated the ePayOps portal on October 24, 2007.

I pay a bill with ePayOps.  Can I make my payment through ePayOps?
If the company or person you are paying has completed the application process, you can process payments now at the ePayOps.com portal.

I am an ePayOps Partner.  Can I accept Payments via ePayOps?
You can if you have completed the  Virtual Payment Systems / Sage Partner Application and been approved.  

Why do I have to reapply to accept payments through the ePayOps / Virtual Payment Systems portal?
MasteCard, Visa and Sage Payments, our processing partner, require that we put each parter who wants to process payments using the ePayOps gateway through an underwriting process to protect other Virtual Payment Sysems customers from fraudulent transactions.  If you have questions, feel free to ask us.

Who is Sage Payments?
Sage Payments is the company that actually processes credit card payments initiated through Virtual Payment systems and puts money into your bank account. Sage Payments is a part of a multibillion dollar  software company (Sage Group plc. London Stock Exchange Ticker Symbol: SGE) and publishes some very familiar titles SalesLogix, Act, Peachtree Accounting, MAS/90, and  MAS/200 and Business Works accounting software.
